Exemplar Award 2015

Winner - London Borough of Bromley

The Exemplar Award 2015 is for the best example or demonstration of the local address and/or street datasets providing quantifiable benefit to the citizen/authority/region/nation. Read the write-up here.

 

 

Local Digital Award 2015

Winner - Northumberland County Council

Sponsored by the Local Digital Campaign, this award is for the best example of innovation in local digital services underpinned by local address/street data. A key focus of the judges for this award was demonstration of both savings delivered and collaboration across services and / or organisations for service delivery whilst meeting a clear user need. Peer Award 2015

Joint winners - Glenn Dobson, Hull City Council, and Pauline Clifford, Reigate and Banstead Borough Council

Nominated by their fellow Authority Address and/or Street Custodians in England and Wales, this Award rewards contribution to the community, or achievement within an authority.

This could include contribution to the overall DCA governance process, participation at a national, regional or county level, contributing to Technical Working Parties, working with other Custodians to resolve a local issue such as partnership with the emergency services, or synchronisation of gazetteers, raising awareness of the benefits of address and/or street information within the authority leading to improvements in data quality.

The recipient of this Award is nominated by their fellow Authority Address and Street Custodians in England and Wales and judged by representatives from GeoPlace

 

 

Most Improved Address Data

Winner - South Lakeland District Council

Using statistics compiled by GeoPlace, this Award recognises those authorities which have made and achieved a real commitment to improving both the accuracy and quality of the data submitted to the GeoPlace hubs. Attainment in the elements of the Improvement Schedule forms the core evidence used to judge this award.

 

Most Improved Street Data

Winner - Hampshire County Council

Using statistics compiled by GeoPlace, this Award recognises those authorities which have made and achieved a real commitment to improving both the accuracy and quality of the data submitted to the GeoPlace hubs. Attainment in the elements of the Improvement Schedule forms the core evidence used to judge this award.

 

Best Address and Street Data in Region

Using statistics generated by the data hubs at GeoPlace, these Awards are judged by the GeoPlace Senior National Address Data Manager after examination of data quality reports and Improvement Schedule achievements and are awarded to the best local authority address data within its region. One award is given for every region in England and Wales
 

 

Gold Achievement Award for Address and Street Data

Awarded to authorities that have reached the Gold standard in the Improvement Schedules in March 2015. This award looks to acknowledge Custodians who have achieved the highest level of data quality.
 

 

Gold Performance Award for Address and Street Data 2015

View the winners here

Awarded to authorities that have maintained Gold for at least ten out of the twelve months between April 2014 and March 2015. This award looks to acknowledge Custodians who have consistently maintained the highest level of data quality.
