GeoPlace conference postponed to 7th October 2020
We promised to keep the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation under review. With regret, and in close dialogue with the venue and our event partners, we've decided to postpone GeoPlace2020 until 7th October 2020.
Why are we postponing?
At the moment, the government's Chief Medical Adviser still says that risk to individuals in the UK remains low – and GeoPlace is a predominately ‘UK event'.
However, we've been watching the wider situation. As April draws nearer, uncertainty would make planning much harder. We respect your time and would much rather help you to plan with confidence, as soon as possible, than reschedule at the last moment with all of the costs that would entail.
Book the date (please)
We've talked to this year's conference venue, Manchester United Football Club, and they have very kindly enabled is to rebook the event for 7th October 2020. This should (we hope) let most of you still attend, without impinging on half-term or other events in the calendar.
