GeoPlace is recognised as a global leader in national address infrastructure by the Universal Postal Union's Postal Operations Council.

We contribute to the United Nation's ‘addressing the world programme' and over the past 15 years have taken a leading role in the development of Address data standards nationally and internationally.

We are a permanent member of British Standards Institute IST-36 looking after ISO 19160, ISO 19112 and BS 7666 and are also the United Kingdom's Technical expert member on Addressing & Building themes for INSPIRE.

We have advised countries in UAE, Africa and Asia Pacific on developing their address infrastructures.

Our team has worked internationally to provide advice and guidance to countries, including a recent United National Mission to help the government of Kenya develop their strategy for the development and deployment of a National Addressing System.
