The Street Gazetteer underpins all mapping, road and street works coordination, highway asset management, route planning, disruption mitigation, traffic management and so much more. It is a vital database and tool for so many and is becoming more important all the time.
Traffic disruption due to road and street works is a national topic that is never far from the press or social media we see and use every day.
Information contained within the Street Gazetteer plays a critical part underpinning systems and mapping solutions that facilitate the actions and efforts of councils and works promoters to prevent or mitigate this disruption
