The contract covers the supply, maintenance and collation of local authority address and street gazetteers throughout England and Wales. These will play a vital part in helping local government deliver joined-up and cost-effective services to citizens.
The National Land and Property Gazetteer (NLPG) provides key address reference data to County Councils, the Police, Fire and National Park services, the Valuation Office Agency and others. The National Street Gazetteer (NSG) supports the electronic transfer of street works notifications between local highway authorities and utility companies.
The team has mainly been recruited from local authorities and is as follows (from left to right):
Ingrid Newman, System Support Administrator, will report to the Head of Technical. She has worked in IT positions in charities and finance.
Anna Mroczkowska, MSA Contract Administrator, is responsible for managing and administering company procedures in compliance with the MSA. Anna previously worked as e-Development Officer within the ICT department at Blackpool Council working on the maintenance and development of their LLPG.
Ian Fraser, Head of Marketing, is responsible for promoting the NLPG and NSG to local authorities, central government and businesses. Ian has previously worked in marketing roles promoting business services.
Nick Turner, NSG Custodian, is responsible for the maintenance and improvement of the NSG data, who will work closely with the creating authorities. Nick previously worked as the GIS Officer Address Management with Halton Borough Council
Richard Duffield, Gazetteer Support Technician, will work on the Help Desk team. Before joining Intelligent Addressing, Richard worked as LSG Custodian at Derby City Council.

It was originally set up to help develop the National Land and Property Gazetteer (NLPG) on behalf of local government and now manages the NLPG and NSG central data hubs under the terms of the Mapping Services Agreement (MSA) with local government.
