GeoPlace has won an award for the Quantity and Quality from the EUROGI/eSDI-Net - the European umbrella organisation for geographic information.
The Award will be officially presented at the EUROGI Awards Conference to be held in Brussels on October 12th. There were at least 41 other competitors overall and six awards were made. GeoPlace was the only winner from the UK: The Award Categories were:
- Quantity/Quality: UK
- Trajectories: France
- Technology: Poland and Switzerland
- Networking: Portugal
- Use/Users: Spain
- Sustainability: the Netherlands
