This winter is going to be tough for us all, but those who are most vulnerable in our society will need specific support. To be effective, a multi-agency approach is essential, agility and speed of response will be key. But how do we link multiple sets of information from multiple organisations to ensure that the most vulnerable get the right support this winter?

Getting data protection and information governance right from the outset will make this challenge easier for local services. And with the right information governance frameworks in place unique property reference numbers - UPRNs - provide a key to sharing & linking information to identify and support those in need.
