The Environment Group, a group of GeoPlace staff, have volunteered their time to work to reduce the impact we have on the environment. Under their leadership, GeoPlace has:
- Produced its first Carbon Reduction Plan, calculating our baseline carbon footprint along with commitments to reduce this towards our Net Zero pledge by 2050
- Developed a series of risks which ensures environmental concerns are considered from a business operations point of view and also that these risks are address as much as possible
- Gathered insights from other organisations around carbon reduction and reducing our environmental impact more generally
- Explored what ISO 14001 could offer us in our environmentally related behaviours as an organisation
