An authority’s street-related data networks can become out of sync, with data no longer matching across the Local Street Gazetteer and other sources, such as UKPMS.

Frequent areas of mismatch include: missing footpath network, the start and end points of streets not flowing logically, differences in attribution and maintenance responsibilities and spatial errors.

How GeoPlace can support you:

GeoPlace can review and improve the quality of authority’s networks including the local street gazetteer and UKPMS, or advise on improvements allowing authorities to get to a single source of street data.

We have experience in providing and can offer:

  • A review and match of street data networks
  • Identification of missing network
  • A review of an authorities’ maintenance hierarchy
