Opportunities at GeoPlace2020

 

 

A day of best practice, announcements, and key insights from influencers. Plus multiple chances for you to connect with all the right people…

GeoPlace2020 will be packed with insights, for our delegates and for you. This year, we'll also be starting the conference informally on the evening before the event itself.

You can get to know who's who and network in an informal setting. Then, after a day of best practice and key insights from geospatial influencers and data users, you can catch up again with post-conference drinks.

Delegates tell us this is a great way to cement new relationships: "The after-event is an excellent opportunity to talk about what's coming up later in the year with people you don't see so often."

 

Opportunities throughout the day

During the day itself, you'll have every chance to reinforce your brand messages. Networking with existing customers and meeting new prospects face to face.

We'll also make sure your business is remembered – we'll let you pitch commercially, to everyone, from our centre stage. What's more, all of our refreshment breaks will take place in a central area, so you can be reassured of engaging with our delegates on a 1-to-1 basis, throughout the day. 

Our package gives all exhibitors the the opportunity to:

  • pitch directly from the main stage before the first break – it's a 30 second slot, but our experience tells us this is ideal for just highlighting what you'd like to promote on the day.

  • encourage your public sector clients to present in the afternoon lightning session on a special topic or a particular success story during the main conference.

  • reserve a private box stand – overlooking the pitch – to host breakfast meetings (with breakfast included and support to promote these, of course), and,

  • network with the people who matter at all of the social events, pre and post event (your free-pass stand delegates will get an invitation to the pre- and post- drinks receptions).

As an exhibitor, you'll also have:

  • a space-only exhibition space (3m x 2m) in our central refreshment areas  

  • three free delegate conference passes (we can supply more, but these will be charged)

  • use of the media wall at the venue to promote your brand – we'll give you a guide on this

  • a partnership with GeoPlace – we'll use your studies in our event promotions

  • your branding in our programme and our day's promotional presentations

  • inclusion in all of the usual promotional activities (social media etc)

  • constant promotion to our delegates – we'll use your business profile and collateral

  • … and you'll receive a copy of our ‘opt-in' delegate list, before the event so you can plan who you'd like to talk to

 

Additional opportunities 

We have a number of additional opportunities that exhibitors can pay for including:

  • Use of one of the pitchside boxes to host a breakfast meeting with current or prospective customers, the price includes breakfast.  We will work with you to identify the people you would like to invite. Capacity of the box is for 8 people and the cost is £295 + VAT.

  • Participation in the GeoShorts session - a kind of Silent Disco. This session takes places directly after lunch and lasts for 30 minutes in total.  We are offering exhibitors the opportunity to take a 15 minutes slot.  Only 10 slots in total are available on a first come first served basis.  Exhibitors that take part will be allocated their own channel frequency and set of 20 headphones to talk to people directly from their stand.  We will work with exhibitors to optimise this time and publish their topic in the conference programme to provide maximum exposure.  The cost to take part is £100 +VAT.
